What are God’s gifts to me?

Your answers to the following questions will give you a good indication of the types of parish ministries you might like, or for which you would be best suited:

  1. What is my occupation, vocation, or profession?
  2. What additional skills, talents, or interests do I have?
  3. What are my hobbies? What do I like to do in my spare time?
  4. What skills or talents do I have because of my hobbies?
  5. What kinds of things have I always wanted to do but never took the time?
  6. What kinds of skills, talents, or abilities do my friends and family members tell me I have?
  7. What are some specific needs of my parish that know I could help with?
Compare your answers to these questions with the qualities necessary for each ministry category below. What do you notice about yourself? Share your thoughts with God in prayer – and listen to what God wants you to do. Then respond generously through your Time and Talent Commitment Card.

    • INSTRUCTIONS:
      1. Complete your "Self-Assessment" of your interests and abilities.
      2. Study the types of ministries available in our parish.
      3. Choose at least three (3) but not more than five (5) of the ministries listed below.
    • Note: You will not be expected to become involved in all of your choices. Within a few days, you will be contacted about one of your choices (where you are needed most). At that time, you will be asked about your additional choices. You are not making a commitment for life, but for as long as both you and the parish benefit from your services. Thank you.
