Discovering Christ
Discovering Christ is a 7-week experience created for those who are exploring, but thought-provoking and heart-moving for even the most faithful Christians. You are invited to break bread together, listen to a dynamic teaching and join in a small group discussion about the meaning of life in Jesus Christ.The Discovering Christ series is designed for those new to the faith or those who wish to deepen their faith and come to know Jesus in a very real and personal way. Consider bringing your friends and family members who have been away from the Church and are interested in learning about a true relationship with Jesus Christ.
We typically run this series once a year aligned with Lent, but there may be other opportunities. If you'd like to hear about the next one, click below and we'll let you know about it. -
A Typical session
Discovering Christ consists of seven weekly sessions and a retreat day. The weekly sessions include four components: a meal, prayer time, a video teaching, and small group discussion.
Dinner
The meal is a time to welcome guests with hospitality, foster relationships, and grow in friendship with one another.
Prayer
Prayer time consists of singing a couple of easy-to-follow songs with the words displayed on the overhead.
Video Teaching
The video sessions proclaim, with beauty and logical clarity, the core Gospel message about our purpose in this life and how knowing Jesus personally is central to it.
Small Group Discussion
Small groups are places for people to freely discuss what they heard in the teaching and share their questions.
